Herding with Recommendations

Abstract: I study a sequence of agents choosing some action under uncertainty when only the first agent in the sequence observes some private information. Subsequent agents only observe a recommendation from their predecessor. I assume that after an erroneous action, it is possible to recover a lost payoff by participating in a herd at the same error.
